Clark Broadwood-Smith is a British sculptor based in Suffolk. He studied Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts and afterwards went on to learn the traditional crafts of his region. He began working alongside master thatchers, sculptors and wood carvers, all the while applying his technical learning and acquired skills to his very own form of contemporary sculpture.

Currently working from his self-built studio near Bury St Edmunds, Broadwood-Smith's work reflects his pursuit of capturing the tensions between the prehistoric and classical, the modern and traditional, the abstract and figurative. He draws his inspiration from the cultural world and embraces travel and its influence on his work. One might be able to see traces of megalithic standing stones, totems, shrines, fragments of ancient civilisations and obscured history.

Broadwood-Smith's work has been exhibited in many group shows in London and other major cities around the United Kingdom. He has also exhibited and worked overseas with artists and makers in India and Italy. In 2017 he was shortlisted for artist in residence with Sir Anthony Gormley in Norfolk. More recently he has undertook commissions for the National Trust's Sutton Hoo sculpture trail. In 2022 he was awarded a scholarship to Rome from the Royal Society of British Artists,
